A little more about the fabric:
This piece is made of Recycled Nylon. Using Recycled Nylon reduces dependence on petroleum as a raw material and can divert plastic from ending in landfills. Through an advanced recycling process where nylon waste is broken down and returned to its original building blocks, it is possible to rebuild a completely new nylon fibre with the exact same purity and performance as virgin nylon, without the use of raw fossil materials. Nylon is a synthetic textile fibre that can be recycled endlessly with retained quality. This piece is also made of 92% Recycled Polyester in the lining. By choosing Recycled Polyester we are able to deliver the same technical performance in fibres with a smaller environmental footprint, it also reduces dependence on petroleum as a raw material and can divert plastic from ending in landfills. The most common raw material source for recycled polyester is old PET bottles.
